We collaborate with public bodies (hospitals, local and regional health organizations) in research projects for new hospital and territorial services, sustaining strategic ICT initiatives needed to reach the objectives of the National Health Plan.

We have designed and developed a medical tele-consulting system for second opinion services. This system is based on standard protocols, but we have experimented new innovative protocols to optimize the exchange of biodata and bioimages.

For businesses, we investigate new evolutionary scenarios and realize feasibility studies on process improvement, new services offering and new solutions development. We adopt the most innovative technologies in order to guarantee market competitiveness.

We are involved in applied research projects at national and international levels with the experimentation of semantic technologies to model and manage the intrinsic complex knowledge in the health and medical domain. Thanks to this experience, we are continuously maturing our know-how and developing prototypes able to demonstrate the benefits of semantic technologies.
