CEFRIEL is fully involved in the ICT Institute, whose constitution has been recently promoted by Politecnico di Milano.

The new Institution includes, together with the Dipartimento di Elettronica e Informazione (DEI) and the Faculty of Information Engineering, the Consortia, CEFRIEL and Corecom, and spin-off companies in the ICT field.

The new Institution aims at becoming the heart of a community of professionals and alumni, in order enhance the traditional link between Politecnico di Milano and ICT national and international companies.

Edge research, educational activities in the information sector, product/service prototyping and technology transfer: a three-stage system where universities, technology transfer centres and Industries must play an integrated role, in order to boost innovation and to effectively transfer it to the companies.
