Project Goals
- Mastering the challenge of fragmentation of future and existing service delivery platforms, which are the technological basis for the internet of Services
- Providing Virtual Service Platforms as a novel domain-specific approach to create service-based applications
- Easing the development of domain-specific, service-based applications by resolving the quality, interface, and technology fragmentation that can be observed in today's service platforms
- Creating an ecosystem of services and Virtual Service Platforms, on top the current platform and infrastructure landscape
- Lowering the barriers for smaller players like SMEs to easier enter markets and offer services and Virtual service Platforms on top of existing infrastructure (open source or commercial)
CEFRIEL Contribution
- Design and development of the requirements engineering framework
- Collaboration on the conceptualization and development of a goal based requirements engineering language for PaaS
