Project Goals
- Develop and validate a generic framework for Software Configuration Management (SCM), which will pave the way to the realization of technically and commercially viable private spaces incorporating ambient intelligence features
- Simplify the approach towards home automation, allowing to easily install new services and applications on household appliances, game consoles and set-top-boxes.
CEFRIEL Contribution
- To develop prototypes that integrate home automation services
- To develop an innovative solution for allowing users to choose a new service or application to be installed on one or more home devices and to configure it automatically, regardless the communication type, the device type and vendor
